Died at Oak Hill 9th October 1830, William Henry Higgs son of Benjamin F. and Sarah Higgs.
Died at James Island, Florida the 23rd August 1844, Joseph R. Rowles, son of Joseph E. Rowles and Sarah Higgs, in the 3rd year of his age.

Died at Oak Hill, Fairfax Co., Va., 99th of May 1917, Benjamin Ford Higgs in the 86th year of (her) age? (This one seems messed up)
Died at Albion, Fairfax Co., Virginia, 29th of November 1919 on Saturday night about 6 o'clock Bersha B. Lee in the 73rd year of her age.
Lillie Dale Lee passed away March 19th, in her 68th year of her age at Albion, Fairfax Co., Virginia. Buried in Fairfax Court House Cemetery.
On July 26, 1914, Uncle Ben Higgs, 85th birthday spent with her at Oak Hill, the hold Higgs home place, now over 200 years old, formerly belong to the Lanes.
Uncle Ben's mother whose father owned at the time of this death ten thousand acres of land, most of it in Fairfax Co., Virginia, some in Maryland, some in Kentucky.
Uncle Ben's father, Benjamin F. Higgs came from England settled in Baltimore City and was in the dry good business with Mr. Schofield, also of England. He sold out the business for $38,000 after his marriage and they lived at Oak Hill, given to them by William Lane. (Uncle Ben gave me this information on his 85th birthday.)
