Labor Day Holiday Reminders

Have a safe and happy Labor Day holiday!

TRASH COLLECTION

"Recycling" and "Yard Debris" will be collected on Labor Day -- Monday, September 6.

 

OFFICE CLOSING

 

The Foundation office will be closed on Monday, September 6, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

POOL NEWS

Both pools will close for daily use at the end of the day on Labor Day, September 6.

 

Still Pond Pool will be open on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) of September 11/12 and 18/19 from 12 noon to 6 p.m.


POOL GUEST PASS REDEMPTION

Unused "purchased" pool guest passes -- those you bought, not the complimentary ones you received with your membership -- can be redeemed for cost ($2 each) at the Foundation office through Monday, September 20.


BACK TO SCHOOL

Fairfax County Public Schools open on Tuesday, September 7.

Please drive carefully and watch for children walking to and from the bus and standing at the bus stop.


STILL POND TENNIS COURTS

The Still Pond tennis courts are now open. Come enjoy our new surface and updated look.

 

TENNIS SOCIAL

The Tennis Committee invites Franklin Farm players to join it for a Tennis Social on Friday, September 10, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. to celebrate the reopening of the newly rennovated Still Pond tennis courts.

The event will feature matches, skill games, and lots of other fun for players of all levels. Soda and water will be provided, and attendees are requested to bring a light snack to share.


MEETING DATE CHANGE

The Community Functions Committee has moved its meeting from September 8 to Thursday, September 16, at 7 p.m. in the Still Pond Community Center.
